Snow sweeps English town, stranding car and slowing commuters

(Reuters) – Snow swept across central English city of Wolverhampton on Friday, as a yellow warning was issued for the area with wintry showers bringing the risk of ice.

Reuters video showed commuters making their way through snowy streets and a car stuck in snow outside a parking lot.

The Met Office forecast for next week predicts an end to the current spell of cold weather, with temperatures returning closer to average for the time of year.
