NEW DELHI (Dunya News) - Separatist movements in Indian-controlled states have been gaining momentum, with freedom struggles intensifying in Nagaland, Manipur, Assam, and other regions.

The head of the Nagaland freedom movement, Thongaleng Muwa, reacted strongly to alleged atrocities by the Indian army, declaring that the struggle would continue.

He warned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that if the government attempts to manipulate or suppress them, they would remain steadfast in their stance and never submit to India.

Several states, including Kashmir, Manipur, Junagadh, and Nagaland, have been described by separatist leaders as under illegal occupation by India. Many northeastern states like Nagaland have been demanding independence for decades.
