Muslim organisations in US successfully get favour of Green Party for Palestine
CALIFORNIA (Dunya News) – In the US presidential elections of 2024, the popularity of Green Party gets boost.
The Muslim organisations in US remaine successful in getting the favour of Green Party against the atrocities in Palestine.
A fund-raising event in California was organised by the American Muslims Public Affairs Committee, in which not only Muslim community but US citizens also participated in large numbers.
The presidential candidate of Green Party, Jill Stein, also addressed the ceremony and condemned the human rights abuses by Israel in Palestine.
"We strongly denunciate the ongoing genocide in Gaza. We will keep raising the voice against the brutalities being committed against the innocent Palestinians even after elections," said Stein while addressing the ceremony.
The other participants also addressed the ceremony and showed determination for American politics free of racism.
The participants also commended the manifesto of Green Party which emphasises justice and equality in the country and condemns the anti-Muslim ideas.
At the end of the ceremony, the host of the event and senior member of the American Muslims Public Affairs Committee, Istifa Zaidi, spoke to Dunya News and said their organisation successfully brought a large number of Muslims to support Green Party.
The participants also presented cheques and cash in the fund-raising drive.
