Indian parliamentarians react against US-India Nuclear Accord

Indian MPs reacted against their government on the issue of buying loyalties of the members to support US-India Nuclear Accord. The opposition parties demanded PM Manmohans resignation.

A tense situation took place in both houses of Indian Parliament on Thursday when opposition MPs rose up and aggressively criticised the Indian government on the issue of buying favour for US-India civil nuclear accord.Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tried to explain the situation and said that attempts were being made to defame India’s image but the opposition parties joined together on the issue and uproar started in the parliament. The opposition parties demanded resignation of Manmohan Singh.
