The US government releases an animated video on the expected path of tsunami after the earthquake.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released an animated video which shows the expected path of tsunami waves going from Asia towards the northern and southern coastal areas of America. After the 8.9 magnitude earthquake, a tsunami warning was issued but the intensity of the waves declined until it reached the South American countries of Colombia and Peru.
