Resan shot five bullets into Major Thapa for rebuking him to use the mobile phone

(Web Desk) – An Indian soldier Naik Kathi Resan has reportedly killed his superior Major Shikhar Thapa for rebuking him to use the mobile phone by shooting five bullets from his AK-47.

Indian reports claimed that Maj. Thapa, who was deployed at Uri sector close to the Line of Control (LoC) in occupied Kashmir, had caught the soldier using his cell phone and objected such behaviour with rage, warning to file a complaint againt the Jawan. The major was initially related to 71 Armoured Regiment, but later on deployed with the counter-insurgency unit 8 Rashtriya Rifles.

The young soldier became furious with such reprimandation and killed the major on spot by pumping five bullets into his body. Indian army spokesperson not only confirmed the killing but also admitted that an investigation was underway.

Major Thapa had allegedly threatened Resan for using his mobile phone in the restive area of Kashmir. Authorities took the Jawan into custody and seized his mobile phone in the recent developments.

Last year, Indian forces in the held valley claimed Pakistan s involvement in a terror attack on brigade headquarters of Indian military at Uri Town that left over a dozen soldiers killed. It had later cleared the neighbouring state of the cross-border infiltration charges.
