Spotify offers a job to Barack Obama

The music streaming network Spotify has opened a vacancy named 'President of Playlists'
LAHORE (Web Desk) – A music streaming service named Spotify posted a job opening titled as President of Playlists on its website s careers page after the American President Barack Obama said that he was hoping for a job offer from Spotify after leaving the presidency.
The current President of United States Barack Obama, who is about to be replaced by President-elect Donald trump, is no less of a music lover. He often shares a Spotify playlist on occasions like Christmas. He started actively participating in playlists during the August of 2015 when he shared his summer playlist on Spotify.
Obama often jokes around with his White House colleagues that they all love his Spotify playlist and that he’s waiting for a job at the company. Hence, the CEO of Spotify Daniel Ek tagged Obama on Twitter saying, “Hey BarackObama, I heard you were interested in a role at Spotify. Have you seen this one?”

The job requirement for President of Playlists includes, “At least eight years experience running a highly-regarded nation”, which is in fact Obama s tenure duration. The ad doesn’t mention President Obama anywhere but mocks him by saying, “Who wil have to identify new playlist ideas for addressing the nation about health care legislation that bears your name.”
Another requirement in the job advertisement says, “Can speak passionately about playlists at press events”, which praises Obama s grip in public speaking. However, it warns the applicant of public scrutiny on playlists.
The Swedish company was first launched in 2006 and maintains a network of music podcasting as well as video streaming for its users across 60 countries.
