Detained Pakistani Naved opposed involvement in terror attack on Christmas market in Germany
BERLIN (Dunya News, Web Desk) – The police chief in Berlin Klaus Kandt has raised doubts and said that the detained Pakistani named Naved is not behind the terror attack on Christmas market in which a truck went loose and crashed in the market killing 12 on Tuesday, reported Dunya News.
In response to the accident, Naved was arrested who immediately opposed any kind of involvement in the attack. The police chief admitted that the men behind this cruel act of horror remain on the loose.

He gave a statement saying, “It is indeed uncertain he was the driver”. While adding to the presser, he told, "The initial evidence has been limited".
Furthermore, police said in a tweet that we will remain especially vigilant throughout Christmas.
No direct evidence was recovered against the detained Pakistani. Police have shown uncertainty about Naved being indulged in the attack. They have stated that real culprits are moving freely outside which is something to be afraid of. However, the arrested Pakistani is still in custody of German police.
Naved is a 23-year-old man who came to Germany in last February as an emigrant, according to German news agency. The German legal matters are routinely held by using just the initial name of the suspect. Another source revealed that he was living at a refugee center in Tempelhof.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel has suggested that the Germans should not live paralyzed by the fear of evil. She promised the in-depth investigation of the matter and punishments for those proven guilty.
