Afghanistan: NATO air strike kills 33 innocent civilians

At least 33 innocent civilians were killed while 14 others were injured in a NATO air strike in southern province of Uruzgan, Afghanistan.NATO said it mistakenly hit a convoy carrying civilians, including women and children. Civilian deaths in strikes have caused widespread resentment in Afghanistan. The Afghan government condemned the air strike, calling it unjustifiable and a major obstacle to effective counter-terrorism efforts.
