Sonia becomes first Hispanic woman judge of US apex court
Sonia Sotomayor, first Hispanic women judge of US Supreme Court, has taken oath as a judge. Chief Justice John Roberts administered her oath in a ceremony held at the SC. Sonias mother and brother was also present in the ceremony. US Senate on Thursday confirmed Sonias appointment as a SC judge. In the 220-year history of US apex court, Sonia is third woman judge.
