Bride rejects groom over inability to count currency notes
UTTAR PARDESH (Web Desk) – A girl excused herself from marrying a man over his inability to count 30 currency notes worth INR10 each.
Reports said that the pandit had informed the bride’s family of the groom’s "skeptical character". Consequently, the bride left the ceremony which led to spat between the two families. However, the bride’s family decided to test the groom for counting the notes. But the groom’s failure to do so led to the conclusion that he was not mentally sound enough to continue a matrimonial relationship.
The bride’s brother Mohit said that his family had fixed the marriage upon relatives’ reliable advice. "When we encountered the doubts on the groom s physical and mental state, we decided to test him", he added.
As the spat worsened, the police interrupted to ensure reconciliation which ultimately stood unsuccessful.
