World’s first robo lawyer set to defend humans in court

(Web Desk) – The world is going to witness first robot lawyer defending a human in the United States court in Feb this year.

The DoNotPay robot lawyer is an AI-based legal advisor using ChatGPT, developed by a company who helps people contest various fines using chatbots. To prove its effectiveness, it will be deployed in a real-life scenario this February.

The robo-lawyer will coach the defendant to produce arguments through earpiece. The earpiece will be connected to a smart-phone app.

Joshua Browder, DoNotPay’s CEO, says as it requires precise calculation to train a lawyer, he always tell the truth. When asked about whether the judge was informed on robot’s assistance in the court, he said the judge was not cognizant.
