MAHARASHTRA (Web Desk) – Fifty men wearing marriage dresses staged a protest outside collector’s office in Solapur against the unavailability of women for marriage.
Indian media reported that all protestors wearing marriage gowns rode horses to the collector’s office. They had hired traditional musicians playing flutes and other instruments to gain the attention of the surroundings.
They claimed that men-women population disparity was the main reason behind the unavailability of women for tying the knot, so they demand the government to make arrangements so they may be able to start a new life.
