Woman fumes as husband's family takes anything they fancy from fridge

A number of people were more worried about the husband being so controlling.

LONDON (Web Desk) - One woman has learned this the hard way after finding out her husband s family had been helping themselves to food from her fridge, without asking. According to this peeved woman, her in-laws have been grabbing  pretty much anything  from the fridge during their festive visit and will sometimes even leave stuff out once they re finished.

She wasn t happy about this awkward situation at all and decided to raise her concerns with her husband. Unfortunately, he didn t see any issue with his family s behaviour whatsoever and told her to just  get over it .

Giving some context as to why her in-laws had offended her so much, the ticked-off wife explained that she and her husband are from very different backgrounds. She grew up poor, in a household where there usually wasn t very much to eat, while his family always had plenty to go around.

"I also want to mention my husband and I are both having completely separate spending accounts, he buys his groceries, and I buy mine. He makes three times what I make so them eating some of my stuff has a bigger financial impact on me than him.

"He offered to buy back what they had but it is more the fact they thought it would be ok that bothers me since they know we have separate groceries."

According to the woman, she and her husband had previously shared the grocery bill, however, he would control what she bought and would also decide whether her purchases were  necessary  or not.

She continued: "I had enough of having to justify why I wanted to buy something while shopping at the store. The other reason is he has a very big family, I just have my mum so I was not happy to have to contribute 50% of the bill when they visited, and also I don t get along well with them."

A number of people were more worried about the husband being so controlling with their grocery bills than they were about her cheeky in-laws.
