Man who left banking job to become children's barber now makes hefty cash
David O'Neal started his own business of children's hairdresser and now earns 650k a year
(Web Desk) – A man had to quit his banking job after being passed over for a promotion. He left his stable job to become children’s barber only to find himself earning hefty cash.
David O’Neal now makes £650k a year. He had opened a hairdressers catering just to children.
The best thing about his place is that he provides video games and car-shaped seats for children who are enthralled to come to the hairdressers.
The father of two now earns £650k a year which is far more than what his promotion was worth, let alone his monthly salary.
O’Neal was inspired by his two children who hated to have their hair cute. He trained himself to become a barber and then placed PlayStation video game console at the shop to attract the young customers.
He also told that he had to take a loan of £25,000 to provide such an environment. O’Neal has opened up nine salons within three years.
He now has 30 employees under him. “I came up with the idea of just giving them a PlayStation or putting on a movie while doing the job and they loved it,” he told The Sun.
