Woman's iPhone 6 Plus explodes next to bed
Smartphone went up in flames right next to owner's face.
NEW YORK (Web Desk) - A Florida woman woke up in the middle of the night when her iPhone6 plus suddenly caught fire, NBC affiliate WFLA reported.
Amanda Bentz said her smartphone went up into flames right next to her face and woke up as she felt that heat.
However, she quickly extinguished fire with a T-shirt so window curtains don’t catch fire. She was using the handset for more than two and a half years.
Another case was also reported in Florida where a person experienced battery explosion of iPhone6 plus.
According to reports, Apple has offered woman to replace charred phone and the company has also started investigating the matter.
