Sony launches Xperia M2 smartphone in India

The smartphone features an 4.8-inch qHD with 540x960 pixels display.
NEW DELHI (Web Desk) Japanese consumer electronics giant Sony has launched its new smartphone in the Xperia range in India, Sony Xperia M2.
The Sony Xperia M2, a cheaper alternative to the Z2 has been priced at Rs 21,990 (363 USD) tough many gadget enthusiasts feel that the phone, at this range, is still overpriced.
The dual-SIM phone packs an 8 megapixel camera at the front with features like autoscene recognition, HDR and 4x digital zoom. It has a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
The smartphone features an 4.8-inch qHD with 540x960 pixels display. The phone also houses a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with an Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
With an internal storage of 4GB the phone can be expanded upto 3GB using microSD card. It has a 2300mAh battery ensuring up to 14 hours of talk time.
The phone is available in three colours - Black, White and Purple.
