Two cricket greats Wasim Akram and Muthiah Muralitharan participated in a charity dinner in London.
The dinner was arranged by Britain’s charity organization Islamic Relief to help flood affectees of Pakistan. Wasim Akram was the chief guest on the occasion. Sri Lanka’s Muthiah Muralitharan, England Test cricketer, Mark Ramparkash, Pakistan cricketers Azhar Mahmood, Wahab Riaz, Saeed Ajmal and Pakistan’s High Commissioner in London, Wajid Shamsul Hassan also attended the charity dinner.Speaking on the occasion, Wasim said that every person should play his role for the rehabilitation of flood affectees.The former Pakistan captain also offered his services for coaching Pakistan team. He also criticised Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt.Renowned Pakistani singer Salman Ahmad also performed during the function. The director Islamic Relief Jahangir Malik informed that his organization would built 60 villages for the flood affectees in Pakistan.
