Sharapova, Kvitova set up final showdown at Wimbledon

The final of the womens event will be played between Maria Sharapova and Petra Kvitova.

In the women’s singles second semi-final, Petra Kvitova beat Victoria Azarenka 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 for a place in Wimbledons final. She will now meet former world number one Maria Sharapova in the Saturday’s final.In the mixed doubles event, Indian pair of Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna moved in quarterfinals after beating Czech Republics Martin Damm and Renata Voracova 6-3, 6-0.
