Junior Asia Cup: 20-member national hockey team announced

Pakistan will play its first match against Brunei on June 19.

Holding a press conference in Islamabad, Chief Selector Hanif Khan told about the national team for Junior Asia Hockey Cup. The junior team comprises Mazhar Abbas, Ali Shan, Waseem Abbas, Sultan Amin, Hassan Mansoor, Muhammad Zohaib, Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Usman, Zuhaib Ashraf, Muhammad Irfan, Arslan Qadri, Asad Bashir, Bilal Qadir, Khuram Shehzad, Hafiz Rizwan, Muhammad Suleman, Muhammad Sufiyan, Muhammad Umair, Muhammad Dilbar and Adnan Ahmad.Hanif Khan added that the tournament would be held in Singapore where Pakistan will play its first match against Brunei on June 19.The other teams participating in Junior Asia Hockey Cup include Chinese Taipei, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
