Germany beats Pakistan in Champions Trophy final by 2-0
Pakistan was beaten by Germany by 2-0 to secure Gold Medal in Men's Hockey Champions Trophy
BHUVNESHVAR, India: (Dunya News) – Germany defeated Pakistan in the final of Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy by 2-0 to secure the Gold Medal in the second most prestigious tournament in hockey. Pakistani team played well but Germans did not let go off any of the chances that they got while Pakistan’s finishing was not up to the mark.
It is pertinent to mention here that Germany had defeated Australia in the semi-final by 3-2 to reach the final while Pakistan had beaten arch rival India by 4-3 in a sensational contest.
Earlier today, Australia defeated India by 2-1 in the match for 3rd and 4th position in the tournament.
