MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) - Initial unconfirmed and unofficial results of AJK phase second show that PML-N is leading with 10 seats, whereas its rival PPP has bagged two seats.

The vote counting is underway following the completion of polling in the second phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly elections, with preliminary and unofficial results showing the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) holding a clear lead in most constituencies.

Polling was held for eight constituencies in the Muzaffarabad Division and 12 seats reserved for Kashmiri refugees.

Voting remained peaceful until the closure of polls at 6 p.m. in all constituencies except LA-27, where elections at all 196 polling stations were postponed due to bad weather and landslides that prevented election staff and materials from reaching the area.

According to early unofficial results, PML-N has secured victories in several constituencies, including LA-30 Muzaffarabad-4, LA-36 Jammu-3, LA-37 Jammu-4, and refugee seats LA-41, LA-42, LA-43, and LA-44.

Election officials said vote counting is continuing in several constituencies, and the results announced so far are unofficial and provisional.
