All twelve candidates from Punjab have been elected to Senate unopposed.

According to unofficial results, 12 candidates of Senate from Punjab have been elected unopposed.Aitzaz Ahsan of PPP and Ishaq Dar of PML-N have been elected on technocrat seats while Kamran Michael of PML-N has been elected on minorities’ seat.Meanwhile, Khalida Qureshi of PPP and Nuzhat Sadiq of PML-N have been elected unopposed on women’s seats.The unopposed elected Senators on general seats include Zafarullah, M Hamza, Rafique Rajwana of PML-N, Babar Awan and Aslam Gill of PPP and Kamil Ali Agha of PML-Q.
