Pakistani diplomat Inamullah held a secret meeting with Swiss judge during Nawaz Sharif regime.

While expressing his views in Dunya News programme ‘Kyun’, former counsel of government of Pakistan in Switzerland Jacques Python said that Pakistan’s former ambassador to Switzerland Inamullah held a secret meeting with the judge probing the case on March 25, 1998 and discussed progress in this regard. These meetings aimed at providing legal assistance to the court which was probing the case.Jacques Python has said that the accused is provided more chances and a counsel after indictment in Switzerland. He said that money laundering case against Asif Ali Zardari had been closed after statement issued by the Attorney General who had advocated that no corruption was committed in Pakistan.Python made it clear that the case had not been ended permanently; rather it was closed temporarily.He said that he did not remain the counsel of Pakistan after regime change and appointment of new Chairman NAB.The new government had directed me to change my stance about the case but it was not possible me, he said.
