The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F awarded party tickets to former senators for contesting Senate polls.

Those who have received tickets include former senators Talha Mehmood and Maulana Rahat Hussain and Maulana Ashraf and Naeema Kishawar MPA have filed their nomination papers here at the Election Commission office for Senate Election.The former senator Talha Mehmood and Maulana Asharaf will contest against the general seat while Maulana Rahat Hussain on technocrat and Naeema Kishawar on the seat reserved for women.The JUI-F has fifteen members in the Khyber Pakthunkhwa assembly and is likely to win election on one seat on the basis of their strength and in case of electoral alliance the party may win two.The submission of nomination papers for Senate Election will continue on Tuesday till 4pm.
