ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin next week, according to official sources.
The meeting, arranged through diplomatic channels, will take place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in China.

The agenda for the meeting includes the promotion of Pakistan-Russia relations, consultations on regional security concerns, and discussions on key international matters.
High-level engagements
In addition to talks with President Putin, PM Shehbaz Sharif is also set to hold a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. His schedule further includes engagements with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, and several other leaders attending the summit.
SCO participation
The Pakistani premier will arrive in China on 30 August to participate in the SCO Summit. The series of bilateral meetings reflects Pakistan’s active role within the organisation and its diplomatic efforts to strengthen ties with member states.
