Mohsin Naqvi praises President Trump's extraordinary efforts for global peace

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday stated that by halting four wars, including one between Pakistan and India, U.S. President Donald Trump has rendered a great service to humanity. He expressed hope that President Trump's efforts for ceasefires in the Russia-Ukraine and Gaza conflicts will also bear fruit.

The remarks were made during an important meeting between Interior Minister Naqvi and U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker. The two discussed Pakistan-U.S. relations, cooperation in counter-terrorism, and anti-narcotics initiatives.

Baker congratulated Naqvi on receiving the Nishan-e-Imtiaz and conveyed her best wishes.

She also expressed sorrow over the loss of lives caused by recent rains and flash floods in Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and extended condolences to the families of the victims.

Minister Naqvi praised President Trump’s extraordinary efforts for global peace, saying that by preventing four wars including between Pakistan and India, Trump has served humanity. He added that no recent world leader has saved as many lives from destruction. He further noted that during Trump’s tenure, Pakistan-U.S. relations expanded and became more cordial, and that Pakistan welcomes every step taken for peace.

US Chargé d’Affaires Baker affirmed that Pakistan is a key friend of the United States and said the U.S. places special importance on its relationship with Pakistan.
