KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Sunday said that the Indian Air Force (IAF) chief AP Singh’s statement is just a face-saving attempt, Dunya News reported.

Talking to media in Karachi, Sharjeel Memon said that Pakistan inflicted a humiliating defeat on India and added that now the Indian government and military are relying on false statements as they are no longer in a position to face their own people.

Taking a jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sharjeel Memon said that PTI gave a call for a protest on August 5 – Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir -- similar to that of May 9.

He said that that the PTI founder wants to spread as much unrest in the country as possible, but the public is no longer willing to go against the country. He further said that no conspiracy will be allowed to succeed on Independence Day.
