India's Jaishankar wraps up rare visit to Pakistan for SCO, heaps praise on hospitality

India's Jaishankar departs for India on heels of SCO moot

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has departed for India and acknowledged the hospitality of Pakistan on the heels of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization session summit held in the capital.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Indian FM tanked PM Shehbaz Sharif, FM Ishaq Dar and the government of Pakistan for their hospitality.

It merits mention that Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar reached Pakistan on Tuesday where he represented India in the SCO.

Also sources said the foreign ministers of Pakistan and India also held a brief meeting during the lunch hosted for the leaders attending the SCO moot.

Earlier, as the top Indian diplomat visited Pakistan in nearly a decade, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar termed his arrival as ice breaker.
