Dar expresses gratitude to all member countries that participated
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has highlighted the significance of hosting the SCO summit, calling it a great hounor for Pakistan.
During a joint press conference with the secretary general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Islamabad, Dar expressed gratitude to all member countries that participated.
He praised their positive contribution to the summit and noted the approval of several proposals aimed at sustainable development, including discussions on trade, investment, and the creative economy.
Despite regional and global challenges, Dar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to implementing the SCO Charter and underscored the improvement of trade, investment, and development of youth and women for regional prosperity.
SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming commended Pakistan for successfully hosting the summit, highlighting its active role in the organisation and the country’s efforts to improve regional connectivity.
