ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari welcomed the Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) moot in Pakistan.

While talking to the media in Islamabad Bilawal Bhutto said that according to the SCO protocol, bilateral relations could not be discussed.

However, he stressed the presence of various international leaders as an opportunity for fostering diplomatic relations.

Bilawal highlighted the need for dialogue between Pakistan and India, asserting that while talks may not happen immediately, they are inevitable. He questioned why the two nations cannot begin discussions on pressing issues like climate change.

The PPP chairman also blamed India's actions in the region, stating that New Delhi's one-sided changes to the status of occupied Kashmir have violated both the UN Security Council resolutions and India's constitution.

He further remarked that if there was confidence in Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, he would have personally attended the top-level SCO meeting in Pakistan.
