Punjab Flour Mills to speed up grinding process: Food minister
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Friday ordered strict monitoring of flour prices in the province.
Minister for Food, Bilal Yasin, in this regard, said that the Department is improving the market supply of flour and wheat. He noted that the DCs and ACs have also been duly directed to ensure the same.
The Minister of Food said that instructions have been issued to the Punjab Flour Mills to speed up the grinding process. The minister said that immediate action has been taken against the artificial shortage or increase in the price of flour.
The provincial minister said that by increasing the supply of flour, a further reduction in the price was recorded.
