ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday heard the case of missing AJK citizen Khawaja Khursheed Ahmad.

The legal director of Defence Ministry appeared before the court.

The additional attorney general informed the court that Khawaja Khursheed Ahmad was in military custody on charges of espionage upon which Justice Kayani expressed satisfaction.

The court instructed the applicant's lawyer to move relevant forum according to law.

Justice Kayani asked the attorney general whether Khawaja Khursheed was retired from military to which the law officer nodded.

The applicant's lawyer asked the court to give him copy of replies. Justice Kayani asked them to go to relevant forum after receiving the copy.

It must be noted that court had issued notices to the Defence and Home secretaries in the previous hearing. Both secretaries were instructed to bring the latest information about the whereabouts of the missing AJK citizen by contacting the ISI, MI and FIA.
