ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has revealed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is allegedly engaged in serious lobbying against Pakistan and its institutions through foreign funding.

FIA sources have disclosed details about PTI's overseas workers and various lobbies aimed at sabotaging the results of the 2024 general elections through financial support in both America and Pakistan.

PTI's purported plan involves exerting pressure on the government, establishment, and state institutions through global, diplomatic, and human rights organizations.

The funding is allegedly intended to impede legal proceedings and investigations against PTI's founder and its party leaders in various cases, including the May 9 riots.

Official sources have claimed that PTI's founder seeks relief for serious crimes by making exaggerated false claims. According to the information, PTI's strategy includes declaring the May 9 riots a false-flag operation, creating a rift between the public and the army and state institutions, and making the February 8 polls controversial to influence the election results.

The official sources also assert having clear evidence of the submission of resolutions against Pakistan in the US House of Representatives and international human rights organizations through Indian and Israeli sources.

PTI is allegedly directly engaged with a lobby group involved in building an anti-Pakistan narrative. The party is accused of publishing propaganda and controversial articles against state institutions and leaders in international publications and think tanks.

Sources reveal that PTI has also produced a controversial and biased documentary negatively portraying the Army and government.
