ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb on Wednesday sent the file of case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder against his jail trial in the Tosha Khana and Al-Qadir Trust case to the Islamabad High Court chief justice to form a division bench.

Justice Aurangzeb remarked that the case (appeals of the PTI founder) seems to have come to his court inadvertently. The case should have been heard by a division bench as the NAB (National Accountability Bureau) itself is a party to it.

The counsel for the PTI founder, Latif Khosa, said that judge Muhammad Bashir deals with high profile cases. Justice Aurangzeb intervened and told him that he [Bashir] was appointed on his recommendation.

He observed that the case should be referred to the chief justice.
