Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been experiencing a new wave of terrorism ever since the PTI government decided to hold so-called peace talks with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) – a move that has proved to a disaster.

As admitted by the PTI founding chairman, he as prime minister opted for relocating the TTP terrorists and their families to the erstwhile tribal region, which enabled them gain a foothold and launch attacks across the province.

Meanwhile, the terrorist groups are not only attacking the security forces but also have made the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police their prime target as they want to damage the morale of law enforcers who have lost hundreds of lives in large-scale terror attacks as well as targeted killings.
