PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has prepared a plan for the upcoming MDCAT test scheduled for November 26. The provincial Home Department has outlined the rules and regulations for the test.

The examination will be held at 11 different centres, including DI Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Peshawar and other districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Sources within the Home Department have indicated that the printing and other crucial processes related to the MDCAT test will be carried out under the supervision of the Peshawar Police.

Details of the examination staff will be released by the Khyber Medical University, and the transportation of all examination materials from the university to the examination centres will be closely monitored by the police, with additional assistance from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Comprehensive security measures, including the installation of walk-through gates, will be implemented at the examination venues. Female police personnel will also be deployed to oversee the examination halls.

During the test hours, cellular services in the vicinity of all examination centers will be suspended to prevent any potential disruptions.

An official communique has stated that secretaries and administrative officers from all Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government departments will not be involved in examination matters. Their role will be limited to security duties. Additionally, CCTV cameras will be installed at all designated examination centres for monitoring.

The Home Department has announced a complete ban on the use of mobile phones for both duty staff and students. The Health Department's staff will be available to respond to any emergency situations as well.
