ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Islamabad High Court is likely to announce its reserved ruling on PTI chairman’s pleas seeking bail and dismissal of case against him relating to cipher, during the current week.
Sources said ruling on PTI chief’s petitions will be announced in two to three days.
Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamer Farooq had reserved its judgement on October 16. The FIA had requested the court to turn down the PTI chief’s applications for bail and dismissal of cases against him.
The PTI chief’s lawyers had adopted the stance that case against their client under Official Secrets Act was not maintainable.

Meanwhilel, a special court formed under the Official Secrets Act on Monday indicted chairman and vice-chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in cipher case. Hearing of the case took place at the Adiala Jail where the special court judge Abul Hasnaat Zulqarnain announced the decision. However, the PTI chairman and vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, had pleaded not guilty.
Since the arrests in August this year, the PTI chairman and former foreign minister are imprisoned in the Adiala Jail.
