Journalists boycotted a standing committee meeting on corruption allegations leveled against media.

The journalists staged a symbolic boycott of a National Assembly standing committee on Inter Provincial Coordination when PML-N MNA Qudsia Arshad leveled corruption allegations against mediaThe session of aforesaid standing committee was held at parliament house under the supervision of Mir Ahmadan Bugti.She claimed that media does not give coverage to any issue without money. The standing committee members should give the journalist some money from their allowances to make their mouths shut, she said.The journalists, on hearing these comments, boycotted the session of the committee.
