ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A new record has been set in the history of parliamentary proceedings in the country, with 54 bills being approved within a span of just four days.
Of the 54 bills passed, the government took the lead by successfully pushing through 35 bills related to the establishment of private universities.
Education Minister Rana Tanveer faced immense challenges in steering such a significant legislative agenda.
Despite facing opposition yesterday, seven bills were swiftly approved by the National Assembly through the supplementary agenda.
