Court accepts Hamza Shehbaz's exemption plea in money laundering case

NAB says no evidence found against Sulaiman Shehbaz, Haroon Yusuf and Tahir Naqvi

LAHORE (Dunya News) - An accountability court on Thursday approved exemption plea of Hamza Shehbaz from attending the court for one day in money laundering case.
The court also deferred action on summoning Haroon Yusuf and other persons involved in the case.

The Accountability Court Judge Qamaruz Zaman conducting hearing of the case relating to money laundering against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz and others.

The NAB said in its report that no evidence was found against Sulaiman Shehbaz, Haroon Yusuf and Tahir Naqvi. The court postponed summoning of Haroon Yusuf and other persons involved in the investigation.

Hamza Shehbaz filed a one-day attendance waiver application saying that he could not appear due to back pain. The court accepted his application and adjourned the proceedings till July 5, exempting him from attendance.
