ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The Foreign Office (FO) said on Friday Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif woulld attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III in the United Kingdom on May 6.

The event, which will be held at London's Westminster Abbey, is expected to be attended by various heads of state from around the world. The prime minister will also participate in an event for Commonwealth leaders on May 5 and hold bilateral meetings with other leaders during the visit.

Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that Pakistan and the UK shared strong historical relations, with a dynamic Pakistani-British community.

The PM previously met King Charles III last year in London to offer his condolences after the passing of Queen Elizabeth.

Also at the press briefing in Islamabad, the FO spokesperson said Pakistan had been a country affected by terrorism and "we have the evidence of India's involvement in it." She said Kulbhushan Jadhav's arrest was a proof of India's terrorism in Pakistan, so the recent remarks of the Indian foreign minister were unnecessary and baseless.
