One killed, 16 injured in aerial firing during 'Chand Raat' celebrations in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A youngster lost his life while at least 16 persons, including a woman and three children, were injured in aerial firing that took place in different parts of Karachi during "Chand Raat" [on eve of Eidul Fitr] celebrations, Dunya News reported on Friday.
According to details, aerial firing was reported in different parts of Karachi including Korangi, Orangi Town, Raees Amrohi, North Nizamabad, Baldia Town, Landhi, Lyari, Yousuf Goth and Liaquatabad area.
The injured have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital and Abbassi Shaheed Hospital. The people are celebrating "Chand Raat" across Karachi and aerial firing is being reported in different parts.
However, the police teams started search operations in different parts of Karachi to control the situation.
