Robber tortured to death by citizens in Karachi

One robber was captured whereas three others escaped as the citizens attacked them
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A robbery suspect was killed after citizens managed to capture and subjected him to severe torture in Korangi Dhai Number area in the provincial capital on Sunday.
According to reports, four robbers riding two motorcycles were looting people when some locals came to the rescue of the robbery victims. One of the suspects was captured by locals was given a sound thrash. Three others managed to escape.
A police team arrived at the scene and took possession of the fatally wounded robber and his motorcycle. The suspect was later pronounced dead and his body was transported to the state hospital for autopsy and other legal formalities.
