Police thwart terrorist attack on check post in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police on late Wednesday night thwarted a terrorist attack on a check post in the Dera Ismail Khan, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, more than six terrorists opened fire and also used rocket launchers in the attack on the check post. However, police officials present at the check post remained safe.
Police returned the fire due to which two terrorists were wounded.
Police said the exchange of fire between the cops and terrorists continued for over 30 minutes after which terrorists, along with their injured accomplices, escaped from the area.
