CTD shot dead two terrorists in Nowshera IBO

NOWSHERA (Dunya News) – Two terrorists of banned outfit were killed in an intelligence based operation (IBO) carried out by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Nowshera on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, CTD personnel conducted an intelligence based operation in Misri Banda area of Nowshera on reports of presence of terrorist during which the militants attacked the law enforcement agency with hand grenade and also opened fire.
The CTD personnel retaliated and in exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed while three of their accomplices managed to escape from the scene. The CTD officials also recovered two pistols and a hand grenade from the dead terrorists.
According to CTD spokesperson, the dead terrorist belonged to a banned organization and were wanted by CTD Mardan and Charsadda in several cases of terrorism.
