Thousands of people are stranded in the flood water in Badin district.

The stagnant water is spreading epidemics in the district and some 30 people have died so far due to gastro, diarrhea, malaria and skin diseases.Thousands of people are marooned as the overflow in the LBOD canal forced them to their houses.Not many teams have reached to rescue the stranded people in hundreds of villages in Badin district.The slow rescue operation is causing a delay in evacuation.
