Benazir murder case: US journalist Mark Segal becomes prosecutions witness

Segal said that Pervez Musharraf made a threatening phone call to Benazir in his presence.

According to FIA Prosecutor General Chaudhry Zulfiqar, Mark Segal in his statement said that former president Pervez Musharraf telephoned Benazir Bhutto in his presence and threatened her why she returned to Pakistan before the general elections.Benazir Bhutto, after this, had said that Musharaff would be responsible if she became victim of any incident.Mark Segal further said in his statement that Benazir appeared disturbed after Musharraf’s call.According to Chaudhry Zulfiqar, member of joint investigation team Azad Khan recorded Mark Segal’s statement in America. The court will indict former president Pervez Musharraf and other accused of Benazir murder case.
