Karachi: Lyari gang war accused fled before police raid

The accused of Lyari gang war in Karachi managed to escape from the area before police raid.

Heavy contingent of police from different police stations of Karachi cordoned off Liquat Ashraf Colony at Shah Wali Ullah Road in Lyari Town and raided the houses of alleged accused of Lyari gang war Wasiullah Lakho and his accomplices. However, the accused managed to flee the area before the raid.Meanwhile, residents of Pangolane staged a protest against police operation and raised slogan against security forces. Police have also raided Sangolane locality of Karachi.On the other hand, police recovered arms and stolen motorcycles during search operation in Pak Colony. Napier Police arrested 21 gamblers in a raid on a gambling den from Ghass Mandi.
