Seven accused nabbed during search operation in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least seven wanted accused were arrested in Karachi during a joint search and combing operation conducted by police and Rangers in Kati Pahari area of Karachi, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
The search and combing operation in Kati Pahari and its adjacent areas lasted for 15 hours during which seven accused wanted by police in several cases were nabbed. They were identified as Shahzad alias Baby, Saleem, Zahid Mavali, Sajid Mullah, Niaz, Junaid and Danial.
According to Rangers spokesperson, 12 thirty-bore pistols, 4 nine-mm pistols, 3 twelve-bore short guns, one 7mm rifle and 500 bullets were recovered from the possession of the accused.
The spokesperson also informed that 17 Afghan citizens having illegal citizenship were also detained during the operation and handed over to police for further investigation.
